One of Nottinghamshire's most exciting party bands, The Dollars, performed at the Young Engineers Network (YEN) Autumn Ball on 15th October. As well as booking The Dollars to provide the evenings corporate entertainment at this event, CIBSE also hired hypnotist Ian Dee.

Mike, lead guitarist, walks out front during sound check to make sure the levels are balanced and ensure The Dollars sound as good as possible for the show.

The Dollars have been included on the seating plan so they know they're going to be well looked after tonight!

A few adjustments to the set list to make sure they're tweaked to the mood of the evening.

The hypnotist starts his show and out of curiosity, The Dollars front man Ben, bravely volunteers... The rest of the band hope it doesn't work as they're due to perform very soon!

Despite having been hypnotised, Ben kicks off the first live set in the usual Dollars style with the dance floor beginning to fill up to Jumping Jack Flash by The Rolling Stones.

The Dollars are going down a storm with plenty of young engineers enjoying a dance.

As the night rolls on, The Dollars crank it up a notch with songs from The Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, and Kings of Leon.
