Guy Stevens DJs At Downton Abbey With Scouting For Girls

Guy Stevens wedding DJ is pleased to have played at Molly and Gus’s wedding at Highclere Castle on Friday 1st May 2015. The wedding reception was held in Lord and Lady Carnarvon’s splendid house, made famous in ITVs “Downton Abbey”.

After their meal and speeches the guests were lead by the Bride and Bridegroom to a specially constructed transparent marquee giving perfect views of the house and grounds. The first dance was introduced by Guy and performed live with vocals and acoustic guitar by Hobbie Stuart.

Hobbie played four numbers, then Guy filled the dancefloor with some classic recorded tracks for half an hour before introducing Ray Lewis (former The Drifters vocalist). The dance floor was buzzing with the sound of “Save the Last Dance” and “Saturday Night at the Movies”. Ray left the stage with the rapturous applause from the guests, then Guy played some more dance tracks.

Later, Guy was pleased to introduce Scouting For Girls, the guests went wild to great numbers including "She's So Lovely" and "I Wish I Was James Bond".

The evening’s entertainment line-up was completed with a full dance floor and an hour set played by Guy. The last recorded track played was “Rule the World” by Gary Barlow and Take That, after which the guests moved to the front of the building to give the happy couple a warm send off.
