Alive Network Artist Pierre Bensusan Wins A 2014 Independent Music Award!

Alive Network have managed the career of French acoustic guitar virtuoso, Pierre Bensusan since 2009. His latest album "Encore" - a triple CD retrospective has won a 2014 Independent Music Award for "Best Live Album".
"Encore" was nominated early in 2014 and has won the VoxPop vote with more public votes than any other artist in any other category!
The Independent Music Awards (IMA's) are internationally recognised program that honours the worlds highest ranked independent artists with over 80 album, song, EP, producer, music video and design categories. The IMA's were established in 1999 and feature previous major-label artists as well as slef-released and indie lable talent from over 70 countries around the world.
Pierre's IMA Award winning album, "Encore", contains 11 previously unreleased tracks including two duets with world renowned keyboard wizard Jordan Rudess from Dream Theater, several 'early years' bluegrass recordings with banjo great Bill Keith and contains 35 tracks in total taken from recordings between 1974 and 2013.
Grammy winning engineer, Rich Breen, worked on the album in Los Angeles with additional engineer done right here at Alive HQ Recording Studios. "Encore" delivers the definitive live recording that Pierre Bensusan fans have been waiting for, showcasing Pierre's unique sound and fluid, in the moment, imrpovisational style.
Pierre was blown away at winning the award and said
I am humbled and thrilled by this honour. I see it as a positive, encouraging statement, a little light of recognition that contents the heart and can be the drive for more music creation to come!
