With The Beatles and The Globe Girls Bring The Best of British Music to Spalding Midsummer Ball! Corporate Party Entertainment

On the 16th June, the Spalding Midsummer Committee got together for their annual charity fundraiser. Being the year of the Queen's jubilee, the well-suited theme of the event was ‘Best of British’!

With over 500+ guests to impress, this year’s fundraiser was packed full of quality corporate entertainment and amazing decor. This year, the event was held at Springfield's Event Centre in Spalding and with every room and hallway decorated to the finest detail, no British past time or cliché was left untouched whether it be Wimbledon, the Oxford vs. Cambridge boat race or Ascot Race Day!

The most spectacular visual aspect had to be the hand built Tower Bridge stage made by TGS Live Events. It provided the perfect backdrop to the main hall!

Upon arrival to the event, guests received a Royal welcome having to walk down the red carpet to be greeted by a Beefeater!

Some of the lucky guests even got to meet the 'Queen'....

As well as having as much fun as possible, this year's Midsummer Ball had an underlying purpose, to raise as much money as possible for MacMillan Cancer Support and Action Medical Research.

The Midsummer Committee raised money and awareness with a silent auction, which included lots of amazing items such as Holidays to Florida plus tickets for the Royal Ascot races.... even the impressive Tower Bridge stage was auctioned off due to popular demand!

In keeping with the event's theme, we sent along our latest roster addition The Globe Girls to kick start the night's entertainment.

Being one of the UK's top drag acts, The Globe Girls have previously performed for British greats such as Sir Elton John, HRH Prince Edward and Sir Alan Sugar to name a few!

Performing 6 fabulous routines at the Midsummer Ball, The Globe Girls and their backing dancers went down a storm with the guests!

After a brilliant performance from The Globe Girls, it was time to get the guests up on the dance floor and who better to do the job than an amazing tribute to the 'fab four'!

Much to the crowd's delight, we sent along our popular Beatles tribute "With The Beatles" who brought the best of British music to the Midsummer Ball.

From the opening note, guests hit the dance floor and sang along to iconic tracks such as Hey Jude, Love Me Do and Get Back!

Bringing Beatlemania back to life, With The Beatles received an overwhelming response from the crowd!

An excellent band, sounding and looking like the real deal. With The Beatles went down brilliantly!
