Oxford University Press hosted their Annual Gala Dinner at Oxford Town Hall, a beautiful Grade II listed Victorian building in Oxfordshire on Thursday 14th July. Alive Network's rock and pop premier band Hipster entertained hundreds of print industry professionals during an awards ceremony & celebratory party.

They booked rock and pop band Hipster, from our Corporate Entertainment roster, to play walk-on music during the awards ceremony and to finish the celebrations off with an energetic party.

Hipster did just that, engaging hundreds of print industry professionals on the dance floor, and keeping them moving right through to midnight.

Hipster played walk-on music while staff members collected awards for their achievements. Tracks included “Grounds for Divorce” by Elbow, “Whole Lotta Love” by Led Zeppelin, “Back in Black” by AC/DC, and “This Charming Man” by The Smiths.
A member of the audience kindly gave Hipster a bottle of Jack Daniels in appreciation.

“Sex on Fire” by The Kings Of Leon never fails to get people jumping up and down on the dance floor with their arms flailing in the air!
The crowd called for an encore and they got a mammoth bass driven cover of “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes - the perfect song to end a performance.
