So accommodating, friendly and amazing at what they do

“The band played at our wedding and we loved every moment of it. They are so accommodating, friendly and amazing at what they do. Our day was so special already but having them there to play in the evening topped it off. Ian and the band got everyone involved; he was dancing with us; getting to know everyone’s names which was so lovely and personal. Everyone that came to our wedding, hasn’t stopped talking about them! And it was worth every penny. The communication between them and us near the wedding, made us feel less anxious and more excited. They’re so easy to talk to and liaise with. Thank you so much again!”

“These guys were amazing, made me feel centre of attention all night long. Ian really made my night special, his high energy, his interaction with the audience, they were an amazing group of fellas. I highly recommend them and will be booking them again! Thank you for making my 50th birthday so special, you guys were amazing! You sang a bit of Dolly, just for me. All your songs were my favourites. You didn’t just turn up do a job and leave you really interacted with us, you came into the dance floor and sang to the audience. Multiple shout outs to me. You made me feel special. I highly recommend you guys. And great communication since the day I booked you.”

“I booked this band for my birthday party and so glad I did - they are brilliant. Ian communicated with me at regular intervals regarding my booking and checked if I wanted to change or add anything. He emailed all the documentation I needed regarding, electrical safety certification and contract so I could pass on to venue. They are a very friendly bunch, nothing too much trouble and checked in with me throughout the evening. They are very talented musicians and learnt the song I requested and did it proud. They also DJd in-between the band sets and the price was very reasonable. Very happy with this band, you won't be disappointed.”

“We booked them last minute for our wedding after our band had to pull out due to covid. Feel like it was meant to be as we are so glad that we had these guys. The communication from Ian right from the beginning, before the day and then through the day was great. That aside, they are definitely a party band which is what we wanted. Ian is definitely a performer - we had a crowd that liked to be up dancing however he was amazing at getting everyone going”

“From the day we first booked them Ian kept in contact with us throughout the months leading up to our big day. The performance they put on at our wedding was absolutely amazing, guests of all ages were up dancing. Great selection of songs. One of the highlights for us was that the band took the time to learn our first dance. We as a couple will never forget that! Having Nightshade helped complete our amazing day. When all your guests ask how we chose the band and the man running our photo booth comes and asks saying “I’ve been to a lot of weddings and this is one of the best bands I have ever heard”, Just confirms what a success they were. We recommend to all and will definitely use them again for family celebrations. Thank you so much!”

“We waited a few days to write this review on account of all of the clearing up we’ve done since our Wedding party. This is relevant because it means I am not writing this on a high - it’s objectively true...they have been literally phenomenal from day ONE of enquiry. Their communication has been faster than anyone I think we’ve ever worked with. They put solicitors, practitioners, contractors and even accountants to shame in terms of their promptness and professionalism. I cannot stress this enough. We were left with no questions, their user friendly communication and questionnaires answered questions we didn’t even realise we had yet. Their communication between booking to event date was regular and friendly. This took any stress we could have had in planning a band away - meaning we could concentrate on everything else to plan. On planning: our wedding party itself was amazing. The band - namely; Ian - coordinated everything for us! Cutting of the cake / first dance / blessing - everything. It was like having a showbiz, extremely talented musician also acting as an on the night events planner! The show set up was WAY above what we expected. The lights turned our hall into a legitimate show - and it seemed like they managed to do this without any interruption all the while playing some great music to keep our guests entertained. Oh my goodness - they were PHENOMENAL on stage. They had the people dancing ALL evening. I don’t think I’ve seen 3 encores at a wedding ?? - but it was at least 3 plus DJ sets that only inspired more dancing and singing! The only regret is that we don’t have another event lined up that we can invite them to play. If anyone is looking for an extremely good band, excellent performance, fantastic taste in music, the friendliest of people and next level professionalism - these are your team. Thank you to the guys for putting the magic into our special day. Honestly couldn’t have asked or hoped for more. With thanks and love, Louis and Stacey Chavannes”
