Luka and her delightful performance

“Luka and her accompanist Rod were delightful to have with us. They arrived punctually, were very friendly and obliging, Luka looked wonderful in her own handmade dress. Her voice was deep and attractive and her song list of cool jazz extensive. Rod’s guitar accompaniment was fitting. The two created a party atmosphere at our sit-down marquee dinner. Their charm was infectious and guests gave them a big applause after their ten minute spot at a higher volume. Although they had been willing to invite people to dance at the end of the evening, this didn’t happen but they didn’t force the issue while people were deep in conversation. My husband and I heartily recommend Luka for her pre-party administrative efficiency and her musicianship.”

“Luka was booked with very late notice to replace an artist and although she didn't have previous experience of the event was thorough with planning, flexible with our set up, incredibly easy to communicate with and a pleasure to welcome on to the team. With a small guide to the aesthetic of the event, Luka tailored her image to what we required and was absolutely perfect, presenting herself immaculately throughout. The song choice was discussed beforehand and she brought her own equipment which was ideal for our space. I have no hesitation in booking Luka again, and in fact, have done due to her attitude and talent. I look forward to working with her again when possible, she's a valuable asset to the success of events and adds glamour, a beautiful voice and is a team player.”

“I was nervous about booking a singer for my restaurant in Maidenhead for New Year’s Eve because there are so many options out there, but I wish I had never spent any time worrying. Luka was AMAIZING. She surpassed any possible expectation I had, and everyone at the restaurant loved her. Her setlist was perfect, and she was genuinely nice and professional. Everyone was dancing which was just what we wanted to create a fun evening. Couldn't have asked for better and would strongly recommend her. Thank you so much.”

“Luka is not only a complete jazz professional—with both rare and less-familiar jazz gems up her sleeve and ready to go—she also sparkles! She lit up the room (when headlining at our most recent outdoor Sultry Summer Party gig) with her evocative double-entendre in numbers such as "Teach Me Tonight" and the exotic ambience she brought to both familiar and less-well known Jobim compositions (that sounded like she just stepped off a direct flight from Rio) as well as her Cuban renditions in perfect Latin American Spanish.”
