Whole Lotta Shakin fitted the bill for us exactly.

The website of Alive Network is very clear and easy to use. We were able to get a list of performers who play the type of music we knew we wanted, (jive and rock 'n' roll), then we were able to listen to some tracks and in some cases see a short video clip of the bands. The website tells you how far the group are prepared to travel, and we were lucky that they were willing to travel from the midlands to Liverpool for the evening. Whole Lotta Shakin fitted the bill for us exactly. The band were very professional in their approach and setting up, and the music was superb - a very high standard. The music was foot-tapping, as we wanted, and most of our guests of all ages joined in the dancing. My husband and I spent most of the second set upstairs talking to other guests, and were itching to get downstairs to join in ourselves. We finally managed to go and dance, only to find that they were playing the last song. One of our guests pleaded with them to play one more, for our sake, and they played two more, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We can't speak highly enough of this band, so thank you, Alive Network and Whole Lotta Shakin!
