We wanted both Marguerite and I to thank you very much for your essential role at our wedding last month on 12 July. We have had indeed many of our guests who told us rightfully how impressed they had been by you. As we had told you, to our knowledge, Toastmasters are not very common in weddings across the Channel. Your presence brought a great combination of English pomp and style with a wonderful smoothness all along the evening that enabled both of us to fully enjoy the moment. We are aware French people can be a little bit more unruly with keeping time and you did wonderfully! The fact that you made the announcements both in English and in French or your attention to such details as the right pronunciation of names made such a difference. It was a “tour de force”! We’ll be always happy to corroborate how happy we have been with your wonderful and bilingual contribution on our wedding day, and of course to recommend you warmly any time we will have the opportunity to.
