Review of The Kicks

The Alive Network were very helpful and responsive, quick to respond and deal positively with our comments and to make helpful suggestions. The Kicks were superb. In addition to our comments above we had a couple of phone converstions before the day to check what we wanted on the night. We had learnt a first dance routine to "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" so it was important to to us that they reproduced the song as closely as possible. They did an amazing job with the feel of the song, intro, outro, tempo and everything else which made the first dance go perfectly. For the rest of the night they filled the dance floor with a great mix of songs from Green Day to The Beatles which all felt that they belonged togther and everybody loved to dance to. They interacted with our guests from the stage and really became part of the evening. Some of the band were even persuaded on to the dancefloor after they had finished for the night. We would happily reccomend them to anyone wanting a live band for a wedding or function. Peter and Lynsey
