Review of Platinum Gold

We booked Platinum Gold as the entertainment for our wedding in July 2005. Although more expensive than many other bands, we booked them on the basis of the quality of the sound samples of their performances on the Alive Network web site. We were really happy that we chose them. The band did a fantastic job. Not only were they really friendly and easy to talk to in the run up the day, but on the day itself they arrived early and worked around our busy schedule to ensure that they didn't cause any disruption whilst they were setting up and that they were ready to start on time. Once Platinum Gold started their performance, they managed to get everyone up and dancing really quickly - not easy at a wedding! They played a great selection of old and new upbeat tracks to keep everyone on the dance floor, and had great interaction with the audience. The quality of the performance (both the singing and the instruments) was brilliant. Everyone commented on how good our band was, and I would happily recommend them to anyone considering a high quality band for their wedding.
