Review of New Frequencies

We thought New Frequencies were awesome! It's very hard to select a band from Internet demos alone and we were a bit apprehensive as to what we were getting, but as soon as New Frequencies stared playing we knew we were on to a winner! Our wedding went extremely well, much better than we hoped, and New Frequencies performance was a large part of that. Their vocals were excellent (both Lynsey and the guys) and both guitarists pulled off some awesome solos; the whole band was really into the performance! One thing that was quite important to us with people of all ages present was that they got their levels right for the room (both overall loundness and vocals vs. guitars vs. drums etc..) and didn't overdrive (distort) their equipment. They played a great selection of songs and worked in all of our requests. On top of all that they were very friendly and helped us out with a few announcements during the evening. Some of the guests said that it was the best wedding they've ever been to and many of them said how good the band was. We were (literally in the bride's case) dancing all night!!
