Review of Neil Morris

Neil sang at our wedding. After initially discussing the type of style we would like, Neil asked if there was any particular songs that we wanted. As we had got engaged in San Francisco, we requested Tony Bennett’s “I left my heart in San Francisco” for him to sing when the bride walked down the aisle. He had never sung it before but soon realised how much it meant to us and offered to learn it especially for our wedding. Because of the song’s sentiment, it even had some of our guests in tears. After the ceremony, some of the guests told us that they thought that it was a CD they could hear, and didn’t realise it was a live singer. And the bride even missed her cue to walk down the aisle, so Neil got to sing it twice! After the wedding breakfast, he then did a 2 hour set which was a mixture of songs that he had suggested, as well as a few of our requests. Neil proved to be a big hit with both us and our guests and captured the different tastes of everyone by covering traditional and modern, whilst also enticing many to have a dance. Neil has an amazing voice and it was an honour to have him sing at our wedding. It made our special day even more memorable.
