World of beauty and harmony

Listening to Jo and her band bring jazz pieces to life, on a summer’s evening in August, feels like a drop of heaven has fallen to earth, nourishing a select gathering of people lucky enough to be in the right place, at the right time. Jo’s voice and heartfelt, impassioned performances of beloved classics, transforms a room in a pub, to a time machine, where for a moment, people can experience an innocent, elevated world of beauty and harmony, leaving their troubles behind them. The Barnet Nightengale brings people together through the power of music and hope. People sing along with the songs they know, and hearts are gladdened. Whilst the songs are sung, a community of open hearts is created, and people are moved and inspired by timeless melodies that reminds everyone that a better world is possible.
