The Gypsy Rogues were amazing! We asked them to do one folky set early on, then two ceilidh sets (3 x 40min) and they were brilliant at both. Everyone, from my gran to the little toddler who danced all through the first set, loved them. David, the caller, got exactly the right balance when giving the instructions for the ceilidh – they were clear but also really funny and put everyone in a good mood. Lots of people said they were the best bit of the wedding, including our friends and family (it’s not easy to please everyone but they did)! When I chatted to them at the end of the night, they were really friendly, nice people. I would highly recommend them to anyone organising an event for any age group.
