Review of Daniel Roberts

Dan is a brilliant, highly skilled, engaging, focused and adaptable performer and student of magic. We have worked with Dan on a range of events in Brighton and the South East. From an often sparse brief, he has used his own initiative to add colour, sparkle and lots of magic to the largest late night events in the City, performing close-up tricks in crowds to over 1,000 people in an evening. He has devised tricks and costumes to fit in with various themes and spaces, for shows that have been award-winning parts of the Brighton Festival Fringe, gathered national press acclaim, and generally been rather uniquely excellent. Throughout these, Dan has been so reliably brilliant - drawing such 'oohs', 'aahs', and 'wows' from our customers - that we came to think of him as both a part of our regular core performer crew, and a friend. As with all the best young British magicians today, he keeps learning, designing, absorbing and perfecting his craft. Test him - he is not a one-trick pony, and will always go the extra mile in performance! We wish him well turning tricks in more northerly climes, and hope very much that he will still appear, as if by magic, to work with us on the south coast again in the future.
