The Dancing Queens vocals were spot on and they actually changed harmonies during the tracks as the real Abba did!!

I am a HUGE Abba fan, ive seen over 20 different Abba tribute shows, the best being Bjorn Again…. Most are terrible!! But a few are excellent. On Friday 21st July we went to see the Dancing Queens at Ponterfract Racecourse. A crowd of 20 of us! We have heard so much about this tribute act as a lot of Bjorn Again fans are also Dancing Queens fans. The turn out at the races was amazing, over 11,000. Probably the biggest audience ever at Ponty races! (We honestly believe most were there for Abba and not the racing!) Now for a living I’m a vocal singer coach with over 30 years experience and I have worked on London’s theatre land so I do know what I’m talking about. The Dancing Queens vocals were spot on and they actually changed harmonies during the tracks as the real Abba did No other tribute band does this! The “Gils” performed 4 spots amd did not repeat one track! The Whole of Ponty races were rocking with them! We would all say without hesitation the The Dancing Queens vocally and visually are the best Abba tribute act we have seen. I’ve been on the DAncing Queens website and I see they have performed at some of the biggest venues in the world and are back performing in Las Vegas next week; we are not at all surprised.
