We hired the band for our Wedding reception, and was impressed from the moment the boys arrived on the day, to the moment they said their goodbyes.
We asked the group if they would do us the honour of performing our 1st dance. The boys agreed, and performed Stand By Me. This alone created an unforgettable moment for my husband and I and our guests. Having looked back at pictures from the night, you can see each of the boys looking at us as we danced, and they are all clearly invested in making it the perfect moment. This was the one moment in the day when the tears took over and I could no longer contain the happiness. I would have been happy to pay just for this. But boy did we get some value for money.
Our Wedding happened to be on one of the hottest days of the year. Our guests were sweltering, and the last thing any of us wanted to do was get up and dance. The boys undeterred, performed their first song and realising that the guests were a little timid, and just plain hot, stepped down off of the stage and came down to our guests serenading some of the ladies, and gents, and getting the first people up on the dance floor. They continued this audience participation for the whole of their first act.
After a brief 20 minute break the boys stepped out onto the stage, this time in new outfits and once again started their mission to get our guests involved and up on their feet. Several of our guests were whispering which of the Jersey Boys they hoped picked them for a serenade and most were not disappointed.
The boys were simply put, authentic, professional and worth every penny. My one regret is that we didn't get the opportunity to tell them just how impressed we were on the night. I would very much like to shake their hands and say thank you. They are an incredible act who went above and beyond to make sure that our Wedding was perfect.
I would recommend the boys to anyone, and would book them again in a heartbeat.
