“Dear James (and the X-Rays), We are still on a massive high from our wedding yesterday and it's in large part due to your incredible performance. You wouldn't believe how many people came up to us, deliriously excited about hearing their favourite tracks covered so so so well, with such energy, talent and character. Everyone had a blast and we really appreciate you carrying on the second set (the crowd wouldn't take no for an answer!) and helping us work out iPod timings. Believe me when I say that, if we ever need a band in the future, we won't settle for anyone other than The X-Rays. Hope you got yourselves and the gear back all right and we wish you every success. From the moment we saw you at another gig, we knew that you would deliver the experience and sound we were after - but you surpassed our expectation on the day. I lost count how many times our guests requested "one last song"! Thank you for obliging and thank you for also being such a nice bunch. You are incredibly professional and reliable and we will definitely be recommending you to friends. In fact, my sister will be in touch to discuss a gig at her 40th!
