“The general consensus was that having live music made for a great atmosphere and in this the Trilbys more than fit the bill. Good mixture of old and new songs got people up and dancing and the band were in tune with their audience. Thanks for including one of my favourites from your repertoire - ‘My Sharona’ well done guys…”

“The Trilby’s belted out a huge variety of classics. They were so good last year we got them back this year. There was something for everyone, from guests in their 60s to employees in their 30s! We can’t speak more highly of The Trilby’s; they really injected energy and passion into the evening. Our only regret was that it had to end.”

“Matt and the band played at our Partners Ball in November, they are a very professional and extremely talented band, with a variety of songs from the sixties through to modern day, they had the guests up on the dance floor all evening! It was a real pleasure working with them and we would certainly recommend them. A great night was had by all, we look forward to seeing you all again next November.”

“The Trilby’s were 10 out of 10! Brilliant musicianship with great voices! Loads of energy and so good at working out what the crowd wanted. There were loads of smiles on our dance floor...the only issue was that the evening had to finish and they had to stop as we never wanted them to!”

“Having been recommended to us by friends, we contacted the band manager/keyboardist, Matt to talk through all arrangements for The Trilbys to provide the music for our wedding. From the outset, Matt showed real professionalism with a friendly touch and was able to guide us through what line-up we wanted for our wedding reception evening bash. With an outstanding singer, we already knew that the vocals would be first-rate and with the suggestion of a sax player from Matt, this only added to our expectation that the music would be as good. On the night, we were blown away with the sound these guys provided, a real tour de force from all sections of the band and just the right selection of songs to accompany ourselves and our guests. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about the band during and after the gig and conversations and cards received since have all mentioned how much they enjoyed the music, and dancing!! Not bad for a bunch of refried oldies whose glory days were in the seventies (that's us and our guests, not the band!) Thanks again, Matt (and all the rest of the guys).”

It really made our evening and everyone has said to us how incredible you all were. We just want to say, however inadequate it may sound, but thanks to The Trilby’s, you guys really topped off a wonderful day for all of us. If we could do it all over again, we'd have no hesitation in asking you guys to step up and play for us all over.
