“I spoke with Patrick a few weeks before the event. We talked for a while about song requests and the type of event, the venue and the type of event it was. The band all got to the venue early to set up and sound check. They played all the songs we requested and the quality of the music and the performance was faultless. The band truly are very talented musicians who love what they do and this shows in their performance. They engaged with the crowd and really made our celebration entertaining and fun. We loved it and would book them again tomorrow if we had any energy left from all the dancing. Real first-class act”

“Patrick and the band arrived and set up quickly and were playing straight away with no fuss or bother. They instantly drew the crowd in with their excellent musical talents and feet were tapping in no time. Be prepared! As soon as they start, people begin dancing, even the least likely guests will be up and going! We had to quickly draw back tables to make a bigger dance floor. As requested, they sang a few popular Irish ballads as well as the dance favourites. Every single person said how brilliant the band were and I am truly grateful to them for making such a difference to our wedding party.”

“The Irish Ceilidh Band played at the evening reception for our wedding on the 25th August 2018 and were a huge success. Even though few of our guests were knowledgeable about Irish Folk music we had numerous people telling us how fantastic they were. If you’re interested in booking them you can do the same as us and listen to samples and watch videos on Youtube etc but actually that doesn’t do much to show the atmosphere that they create. Patrick is a real character and has obviously been in the business for a long time and is very good at tweaking his playlist based on audience reaction. Whilst our guests were really enjoying the outstanding musicianship and music for the first half hour or so we did see a reluctance for people to fill the dance floor. That all changed though and Patrick probably regretted our guests losing their inhibitions as our Irish dancing was truly appalling – all our guests had a great time though so that’s all that counts!”

“We had The Irish Ceilidh Band play at our wedding & hand-binding celebration earlier this month. They were amazing and got everybody in the right mood for the celebrations. We have great videos, photos and memories of a night where they provided a brilliant traditional Irish folk soundtrack with people of all ages on the dance floor having a great time. We were also incredibly pleased with how communicative and hands-on Padraig was with us leading up to the night, checking in with us, making sure everything was in order and tailoring the set to suit our needs.
