“I found booking with Alive Network very easy and stress free. I was very impressed with the prompt reply for band quotes. Freddie and I were really pleased we booked The Happenings they were absolutley fantastic - all our guest had a good dance on the dance floor (ranging from the youngies right through to the oldies). The playlist was a great mix something for everybody! They sounded fantsatic and played very well! We would book them again for a party and I have recomended them to friends having weddings. They really did us proud and we got them to play an extra set as nobody wanted them to go! ”

“The Happenings were absolutely amazing. The soundtracks on the Alive Network website did not do these guys justice. They were friendly, helpful and polite and even helped me to massacre a perfectly good song that I very drunkenly played for my new bride, but they were really encouraging and supportive. Our wedding guests kept asking where we found the band and were surprised that we merely picked them from a website and hadn't seen them play. Even my 67 year old step-dad couldn't believe his luck when they played some early rock n roll from his childhood, right up to modern day. What a brilliant end to a perfect day. Thank you ”

“Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. 'The Happenings' were absolutely fantastic and so talented. They could not have done a better job of entertaining everyone at our party; 190 people descended on the dance floor for their first song and did not leave until their last. Their music was great and they were such lovely guys to work with. We will most definately be recommending them in the future. Matt Henning from Elite Disco's worked so hard with the playlist we gave him for the night. He played all the music we wanted and kept us all bouncing on the dance floor. His kit was great and he was fun and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend him. I hope you will relay this to the guys, Thanks for all your help, Hannah Holmes ”

“Thank you for your email. The Happenings were absolutely brilliant! We and our guests enjoyed them immensely and were sad when they completed their sets! The range of songs they played was excellent for the range of guests we had at our wedding and there was something for everyone. The guys were helpful, polite, professional and out to please us with their performance. We have nothing but praise for them and hope we can use them for another event in the future and will definitely recommend them and also Alive Network to friends and family. “The band were BRILLIANT! They were just superb. They were so friendly and amiable, it felt like they were friends rather than two lads we'd never met before. They played brilliantly, had all the talent we'd expected, but bags more personality and good humour than we could have hoped for. They even allowed a group of drunk guests (my brother and mates) to steal the microphones and sing 'American Pie' whilst the true professionals (the band) just took up backing vocals and guitars... it was hilarious, and everyone has commented on it since. It was one of the highlights of the day. They were truly wonderful, and both such lovely blokes, we couldn't have asked for anything more. So please pass on my thanks to them for making our evening so perfect. We'll never forget their beautiful rendition of 'stand by me' for our first dance, we were both nervous and they made it feel so natural, and when everyone began singing along with the band when the chorus came around... well, it was pure magic. I can only hope the pic and mix made their 1 1/2 long journey home in the middle of the night less boring for them! Thanks again, Hannah and Charles. ”
