““Wow! Where to start; they are a fantastic group of people and absolutely exceptional musician’s. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of them and would love to find an excuse to use them again. All of our guests thought they were incredible and they kept the dance floor jam packed all night. They are extremely accommodating as they learnt our first dance song; “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder AND one of our bridesmaids also sang a song alongside them; “Rather Be” by Clean Bandit, which was a brilliant surprise for all of our guests. They mixed new with old school, engaged with guests and even added a bit of humour. I’d recommend them to anyone and everyone. You honestly will not be happier if you select them to play at your wedding or party. Big love to The Family!””

““Well what can we say! From our initial meeting with Pete and seeing The Family perform live in Hale we instantly knew we had found the band for us!! We loved the individuality of the Family and knew they were the something special we had been searching so long for!! From the moment of booking right through to the day before the wedding, Pete was so organised, flexible and accommodating in answering our questions and devising set lists that were individual to us. We cannot begin to express just how amazing they were on the day – they were just perfect! All our guests commented on how amazing they were and are still talking about them now – weeks after the wedding!! I personally was dancing from start to finish on the evening! All we can say is that we are so grateful to have had all you guys there as part of our day as you truly were incredible and some might say you made the day!! Thank you again for being so amazing!!”

They were amazing and I loved the fact they learnt our first dance – ‘Best day of my life’ by the American Authors. They wanted to ensure we had a good party vibe to our evening celebrations. So many people commented on how great you were and that you were the best band they’d ever heard at a wedding. What was so lovely for me and Tom was the fact you totally got the kind of music we liked and it was so touching how many of the songs you learnt for us – having the whole wedding party singing Disney songs while doing the group shot was amazing and when spice girls came on later…well I couldn’t be happier!”

““We knew we were onto a good thing with The Family when Pete suggested we come and watch the band at Hogans of Hale. They were incredible. We spent most of that evening dancing and the rest recording parts of their set for inclusion on our wedding playlist! Come the wedding day, they blew away our already high expectations. Pete and the band had learned not only our first dance, but also few other obscurities which really helped made the day feel special. The band were brilliant throughout the evening and the dance floor was full for every moment they were playing. Their personalities and enthusiasm shone the night through and our wedding guests loved them! We’ve been to a few weddings now since ours and at each one we never tired of hearing how our wedding band was so much better than whoever the current happy couple had the misfortune of booking! The Family lit up Styal Lodge for us and we have no reservations in recommending they’d do the same for anyone else, anywhere. We often find ourselves wishing we still lived close to Pete and the gang so we could gatecrash their wedding gigs and watch them in perform in bars across Manchester!””

““The Family were everything we hoped for and more. They provided a professional service from start to finish, accommodating all our requests and giving us ideas for the running of the evening. They really made the party atmosphere at our wedding, we loved them and so many guests commented on how much they loved them too! The quality of the music they play is excellent and so much fun to dance to. They are lovely people and amazing musicians. The song choices were excellent and we had the option to taylor the songs to the audience which was an added bonus. I’d book them again in a flash and I’m recommending them to everyone – our dance floor was full!’”

““When we were looking for a wedding band, it felt as though the last thing we wanted was a ‘wedding band’, as the first thing that comes to mind is cheesey hits from before we were born! We first saw The Family at a bar near to us and loved the set they played. A cool mash up of contemporary music from the naughties, with the odd classic with a funky twist. Music that was current but still would appeal to the more experienced generation! Throughout the build up to the big day, Pete was relaxed in getting information from us, with a few gentle reminders when needed. The Family then delivered a perfect night of music, creating a party where literally everyone was up and dancing. The Family were one of the highlights of our day and one of the best decisions that we made. They made the night and we would choose them again in a heartbeat. Thanks guys for an amazing party!””
