““Well what can we say apart from thank you, thank you, thank you! Reece and I stumbled across The Family at a wedding fayre, which was a bit dull to say the least, we were just about to leave feeling disappointed when The Family began! After that we were dancing along in our seats and it was the best wedding fayre we went to! I knew then they were the band for us! Pete who helped us find the best package to suit our needs and those of our venue was very helpful and professional throughout. Any questions would be answered via email promptly and in detail, playlists were discussed and adapted, the band were so amenable to our tastes as well as in keeping with the venues atmosphere, and we had no doubt that what they would do on our wedding day would be perfect. On the day however wow did they beat our expectations!! They had learnt and played our first dance song which was amazing, then they had our guests (and us) up dancing all night long- what could be better. Everyone commented afterwards about how much they enjoyed the music. Truly The Family helped to ensure our day was perfect for us, I wouldn’t think twice about booking them again and I will certainly be recommending to any friends or family looking for a cool, upbeat, friendly band for an event. ““The Family really added an extra sparkle to an already brilliant day – we’re so pleased we found them. We knew how important music would be for creating the atmosphere we wanted and making it a memorable day for our guests, so we picked every element really carefully – from the church arrival to the pre-dinner drinks, through to the evening do. My biggest fear for the night was an empty dance floor, but that just wasn’t going to be a problem with Pete and the band in charge. We danced all night and the guests loved the funky tunes and threw themselves into the crowd participation. So many people congratulated us afterwards on what a cool and talented band we had. The stand out highlight for us, though, was Tolu playing All of Me by John Legend live for our first dance and singing it so soulfully. It made it such a special moment for us. Aside from the excellent entertainment they provided, they were a fantastic support in the run up to the day. Pete was so attentive, helping us plan for the day as well as the evening, with lots of suggestions and ideas and so much flexibility to ensure that we had the party that we wanted. I couldn’t recommend The Family highly enough and would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks for being part of our day, guys!””

““It was great having the Family playing at our wedding. Right from when we first got in contact with them they where so friendly inviting us along to one of there gigs at Hogans of Hale to see them live. After hearing them we knew we wanted them for our wedding. We met up with Pete for a coffee to chat about what we wanted, and he was great at listening to our ideas and also suggesting some great ideas too. On the day they where great, arrived exactly when they said they would and set up quietly so not to distract from what else was going on. They did an amazing cover of ‘Thinking Out Loud’ for our first dance. Throughout the rest of the evening the music was amazing, it made it so easy and fun for everyone to get up and dance and have a good time. I would definitely recommend The Family to anyone who needs a wedding band, great music and a lovely group of people. One of our guests was so impressed by the end of the evening that she has now booked them for her wedding!””

It was great, I definitely didn’t get to enjoy the band as much as I hoped, kept getting sidetracked by people!!!
