They had everyone on the dance floor from the moment they began playing until the end of their second set, and obligingly played one more song (Shake Your Tailfeather) when everyone was chanting for more! Our friends and family are still talking about how brilliant the band were. Highly recommend. Jeremy was also flexible and understanding timing-wise when we were a little delayed - exactly what you want in a wedding band.”

“I genuinely don’t know where to start with expressing just how utterly amazing Jeremy and the rest of the band are and how they blow all other ‘wedding bands’ out of the water by a country mile and further..... Jeremy is hugely charismatic, has a way with music that only the most talented musicians do have, and he never fails to get people up on the dance floor... I grew up with music around me and as a musician, I was hugely picky about who I wanted to play on the most special day of my life- Jeremy is musical in a way that only happens when you have an innate natural talent (very jealous by the way!!)- His voice has a richness that envelopes you like the best hug; it’s like sunshine on a rainy day; British honey mixed with rugged tobacco and a Tennessee twist!! He makes you want to ‘shake your tail feather’ in a way I haven’t seen any other wedding band achieve and believe me, I have been to a LOT of weddings!!!!..... Jeremy and the guys are consummate professionals: set up quickly and efficiently; Guage the crowd; listen to your wishes and feelings, and play in a way that will have your guests telling you they are the most brilliant thing they’ve heard in a long while- possibly ever....(all mine did anyway)! They are sophisticated, smooth, slick, superbly polished and have a repertoire to suit all needs- They are fun, fabulous and will make memorable moments where others would not.... They are far more than just ‘a band’- they are engaging, mesmerising and feel like they are reaching out to friends..... Testament to Jeremy and the guys is the fact that he got two known non-dancers (one of whom didn’t even dance at his own wedding!!!!) up on the dance floor- that is some going!!!! As we sit together on our ‘mini-moon’ reliving the incredible music, we listen to his amazing album and again marvel at how he can mould a band to suit small and large venues alike-from just him to a 17 piece jazz band..... We only wish they could have played for much longer even though they played far more than they ordinarily would and ended up with about 10 encores as people wouldn’t let them leave!!! Can’t wait to see them play again- Thank you so so much Jeremy and the Jazz Prescription- you made our day absolutely perfect..... Think we will get married every year just so we can have you back.....!!”

“As everyone does, we wanted people to dance and enjoy their evening. The dance floor was full from start to finish - all ages enjoying the right tempo, volume and play list. Jeremy communicated well from the start, turned up on time (in fact, very early much to the Best Man’s horror!) and efficiently sent all the correct paperwork to the hotel. Trouble free, outstanding service and simply phenomenal music. Guests of all ages were extremely complimentary... Jeremy... remember your offer for our potential next three functions...! ”

“Can’t recommend this band enough. I first saw Jeremy play in Manchester and was blown away and so happy when we managed to book his band. They played at our wedding in November and were nothing short of amazing!! They are unbelievably talented and every song they played was top class. The dance floor was full for every minute of their set and they created a magical atmosphere that our guests have not stopped talking about!! Jeremy and his band were an absolute joy to work with and so helpful, creative and talented. If you are looking for a band to play at your special day or any other event- look no further. “I actually don't know where to start but I know one thing for sure, these guys made our wedding day!!! From first contact, Jeremy was professional, accommodating and above all FUN - exactly how we envisaged our wedding! We had booked a two piece duo for the welcome drinks, a solo pianist/vocalist for the meal and finally the full jazz band for the evening reception for an amazing price! We couldn't wait and kept listening to the playlist! The day arrived and WOW, from the moment they arrived they never stopped entertaining our guests with first class music. The atmosphere was magic, people even got up during the meal dancing! As a bride I never stopped smiling, watching all my favourite people in front of me smiling and dancing away literally made my day. The dance floor was never empty, from my 9month and 2 year old children to my grandma in her 80's - everyone was up all night long! And as if that wasn't enough, they topped it off with our first dance, my favourite song Queen - Don't Stop Me Now! Words can't express how happy this made me (even if the husband can't dance!!!) “We booked The City Sound for our wedding. They were absolutely fantastic. Jeremy is just great and such a nice guy - great communication upfront and totally professional (both at the venue and beforehand). He arrived early on the day to set up and check everything was working, set up a microphone so I didn't have to worry about shouting in my brides' speech, and agreed to learn 5 or 6 new songs specifically for the day. The double-bass / saxophone duo and the band on the day were incredible. I have played music all my life so it was one of the priorities for the wedding. They did not disappoint. They are such good musicians. Jeremy picked up the trumpet for the first time in 5 years for one of the songs the band learnt (sing, sing, sing) and it was great. We received so many compliments about the band. Both on the evening (shouts of "one more song, one more song" at the end of their set) and afterwards. Everyone was raving about them. Booking The City Sound was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I would not hesitate to book them again if the opportunity arose (although hopefully not for another wedding!).”
