“I can not thank Jeremy and the guys from City Sound enough for making my 60th Birthday party amazing! Right from my first discussions with Jeremy, I knew we would have a fabulous night. Jeremy took time to listen to the 'vibe' we wanted and then created this with his musicians. The quality of the music was superb and I would recommend them without hesitation. “From start to finish Jeremy and the City Sound were incredible!!! from my (now) husband(!) arranging the initial plans, to our chat ahead of the wedding to the amazing professionalism on the day from Jeremy and all the musicians we couldn't have asked for anything better. The sax and bass duo during the drinks reception was so wonderful and really brought an extra special feeling to the day! Then for the evening, they appeared as if by magic set up and ready to go and had everyone on the dancefloor from start to finish. It was so wonderful to see our guests of all ages and music tastes up and dancing on the dancefloor, especially the ones that claim they don't dance!! I honestly do not have enough words to explain how marvellous they were to have as part of our wedding and the feedback from our guests both with their dancing and their comments afterwards showed us what we already knew, how fantastic they were. They have also added to their fanbase as I know some of our guests have started making plans to watch them perform again and we would love to have them be part of future events if we are lucky enough!! “Absolutely amazing musicians and people! From the start, Jeremy was so helpful asking what type of music and vibe we were going for and whether or not they are right band for us - without a doubt they were! Jeremy even moved his holiday plans to accommodate our wedding date! We first watched Jeremy play in London and were sold given they great atmosphere and time we (and the entire restaurant) had!! On the day, the Jazz prescription band were so professional, easy going and we had nothing to worry about. We loved the sax and bass duo in the drinks reception, adding a bit of class to the day and Jeremy even had everyone up and singing along during the wedding breakfast! Needless to say the dance floor was filled all evening with the whole band playing a mix of jazz/ swing and modern pop covers. Would recommend to everyone and anyone! “WOW!!!! What a fantastic band! The Jazz Prescription filled the dance floor for every second they played and sang, with fabulous jazz swing and also some more modern music later. Jeremy is a friendly, efficient and highly professional individual, full of helpful advice and kindness. The talent and experience of these great musicians shines through their performance and I wouldn't hesitate to book them again, as well as recommend them to any age group for any event. “So fantastic! The band were so good for the end of our wedding. Really great musicians and certainly got me up and dancing for the whole night they were playing. They were also extremely accommodating given that the schedule had fallen about an hour behind, due to no fault of our own, and even though the venue had been given order details for dinner that had not been passed onto staff. Given that Jeremy had to drive back to Manchester from Oxford, I think he displayed a reserve of patience and magnanimity I may have not been able to! I would highly recommend this band, they play a great selection of dancing tunes, are clearly passionate and are extremely professional and friendly. Also, all good communication with Jeremy before hard, putting me at ease when you're running a tight schedule.”

“Where to start, from seeing Jeremy play at Boisdales, we knew he was the one to play at our wedding. From our first contact, Jeremy’s extensive advice and knowledge helped plan the music and timings for our day. The band and music he brought to our wedding was nothing but the best and we were his sole attention. The brief from my wife and I to Jeremy was for a first dance followed by music for dancing and that’s exactly what he delivered. We provided him with a new artists/song for the first dance and he delivered it to a level that exceeded any expectation. Due to restrictions, there were only 28 guests however this didn’t matter as the music and atmosphere they delivered filled the room! Jeremy and his band took the stress away from our day and truly made our evening & wedding, I couldn’t recommend him and his band enough. If I have any future events, Jeremy will be my first point of call as a top class band”

“Can’t recommend this band enough. I first saw Jeremy play in Manchester and was blown away and so happy when we managed to book his band. They played at our wedding in November and were nothing short of amazing!! They are unbelievably talented and every song they played was top class. “Jeremy, we clicked from the onset when you told us you were definitely our man and from then, was so relieved to finally find a real musician having scoured all the manufactured bands! You really took care of my wedding with great integrity and humour from start to finish helping us to piece everything together. Even up until the night before! You were more than approachable every step of the way. The music was superb throughout the evening and there really was such a great vibe as commented by everyone. You played with such passion starting with our ceremony where everybody whispered how divine the piano was. Your later sets incorporating swing, jazz, blues and soul were just phenomenal, so many positive remarks- you and every musician in the band really made it for us. It was loved by all, old and young alike, as you could see from the dance floor. Looking forward to seeing you again and can’t thank you enough.”
