“Steve was absolutely amazing!! We loved his voice and the type of music he sang.. the guitar playing was excellent.. He was the hightlight of the day and even played a little longer than expected which we were very grateful for. If anyone is thinking of having Steve to play at their wedding DO IT!! We only wished that we had him to stay all night instead of our DJ... Everyone thought he was wicked...Such a cool guy too....Thanks Steve and thank you clare for all your help.... “Just a note to thank you for your help in arranging for Steve Young to play at my party. The party was a great success and Steve was fantastic. All my guests loved his music and we almost had a riot when he finished. He coped with the rather cramped conditions and he was happy to fit in with the somewhat haphazard timetable. If it hadn't been for the snow coming in he would have stayed over his time. He really understood my husband and I and the mood of our guests and made our evening a memorable time. “Steve Young - amazing, an absolute legend! I didn't want him to leave, he was so good and if anyone asks me re. singers, he will be the 1st person I recommend. Absolutely outstanding! I asked Steve if he knew 'Love of the Common People' by Paul Young, and he didn't but promised me he'd try and learn it in time (he had 2 weeks), that song has a lot of meaning for my husband as it reminds him of his mum that died 8 years ago and I wanted something extra for him to ensure his mum wasn't forgotten about on his special day. Let me tell you, Steve pulled it off, my new husband was in tears but that was down to Steve's emotive interpretation. Steve is an absolute legend and he made that moment so utterly special. Clare at Alive Network was an absolute star, we had 2 changes of venues, we changed the times, and nothing was too much trouble for her. She ensured everything ran like clockwork. ”

“Hi Gemma Just to say a big thankyou for all your help with organising Steve for our wedding. Steve was brilliant. We didn't want an ordinary disco for our wedding. We wanted to be different and have some live music. Steve played a great selection of songs and all our guests commented on how good he was. Steve learnt "hero" for our first dance which he sang beautifully for us. One of the little ones in our wedding party joined in with Steve and played the tambourine. I think Steve was a little disappointed that no one else really got up and danced - but that was just the nature of our families - hence why we didnt want a disco. We thoroughly enjoyed Steve's performance and would recommend him anytime. Many Thanks again Regards Julie & Gareth Hardwick”
