“I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for an outstanding performance at our Christmas function on Saturday night, the comments I have had back from all those attending are brilliant. I can personally say that I thoroughly enjoyed the music that you played and the various different types of music that you had on your playlist. I think the number of encores you received is an indication on how much everyone enjoyed the performance. I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone, we would certainly use you again, many thanks on behalf of us all at the Warrant Officers and Sergeants’ Mess.”

I was delighted with Starlight and so many friends have said how good they were. I hope they enjoyed it too. They were very much appreciated.”

“The band were amazing. Having been to a number of functions with bands, many appear pretty similar after a while. Starlight however, definitely did not fall into this category. The sheer amount of effort and energy they put into their performance was a tribute to their professionalism but what stood out was that they genuinely seemed to enjoy playing for us. This made the whole performance even more enjoyable and was reflected by the fact that the dance floor was packed all night! We have heard nothing but positive feedback ever since from many of our guests. Starlight also learned our first dance song especially for the night and performed it beautifully. We certainly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Starlight for future events! Mr & Mrs Brown ”

“From the moment we chose Starlight we were very happy! They were pro active group emailing us quickly and helping with the set list (It was hard choosing as they have an excellent selection). A lovely group of people setting up quickly and always considerate. Sarah the singer went down very well with the kids as she interacted with them off the stage and really involved all our guests. We received loads of wonderful compliments for Starlight from all our guests and would definitely use them again!”

Such a great mix of tunes and quite a few that you wouldn’t expect from a cover band that went down really well. I had loads of people comment on how good you were. I personally loved the more ‘rockier’ mix that you play. Not just the usual wedding dance staples. Excellent. I also very much appreciate you not only learning and playing a beautiful version of the couple’s first dance, but also your willingness to accommodate our other requests on the night. “What can I say, just incredible! Your singer was stunning, with a voice to match and I think your guitar player mesmerized us all with his skill. You were so friendly and helpful throughout it was truly a pleasure. I cannot thank you all enough for offering to learn to play James Blunt - Bonfire Heart, it made our first dance something we will always treasure. All the guests I spoke to only had great things to say about you all, they loved every minute! Hopefully I can convince my brother-in-law to book you when he gets married next year.
