“Outstanding value for money, we were really impressed with this band and how talented and professional they were. They really helped to make a big contribution to our wedding celebrations, and what what obvious was they they really seemed to love what they were doing too! They both commented how lovely our guests were and what a fantastic venue we had at the Old Palace in Lincoln - and so their enjoyment of the event meant we felt they went above and beyond in giving us a great performance. We absolutely enjoyed their music and performance. They made such an impact with our guests, practically every one was up and dancing to their wonderful latin vibes! They have such a rich and varied range of instruments and sounds, it seems hard to imagine its all coming from just the two of them. Guests were invited to join in with some of the percussion sounds and they really made the party swing!”

“I booked Mamba Rumba for my 50th. The venue was at my house, so ultimately limited to space. I wanted to create a party ambience with a live atmosphere and picked Mamba Rumba after seeing clips from Mamba Rumba's page on Alive Network. Communication was great all the way through the process as they (Mamba Rumba) phoned to talk about my requirements and I was a little nervous it might be too small a venue for them. They put our minds at rest and were more than happy to play. The evening was fabulous, we had about 40 guests, and as soon as they started to play, everyone wanted to dance. I've seen a few bands, and these are one of the most talented, professional, affable duos I've ever seen. We couldn't believe the rhythms, beats and music being created were from 2 people, not a backing track in sight... truly fabulous. Thanks Mamba Rumba, you made my 50th birthday, and those who attended a truly memorable occasion!”

“Frankie and Pete were lovely professional people. Everyone said how much they enjoyed my afternoon tea at Arley Hall, and the music was very much part of the relaxing atmosphere. A lot of people went to look around Arley Gardens after eating, but luckily Mamba Rumba didn’t seem to mind playing to about 10 people (including myself!) until everyone returned from the gardens. We have booked a band for my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah, so Mamba Rumba were my “test booking” and they certainly passed!”

“They are fabulous, versatile musicians and everyone, bar none, loved their performance. We had about 50-60 people, from 20 year olds who thought they were awesome, up to 70 year olds who were dancing away. Someone said this sort of music makes you think you’re a great dancer..! At my request, the first set was more chilled as people were arriving, eating and drinking and the second set, livelier and more dancy - they interpreted that perfectly. They also did a number of requests. They really helped the party go with a swing – it was a tremendous success.”

“Once I found the site via my search engine I was delighted with how easy it was use, the fact that I could listen to snippets of the aritists as well as readily check their availability also helped. Mamba Rumba were really good and very professional in their approach. They travelled a long way to perform, arrived on time and slipped into the background of the event not requiring me to nursemaid them at all. I would happily reccomend them to anyone else - top act for a small party venue like ours.”

“Mamba Rumba were wonderful, they really made our wedding and all our guests loved them. The music was perfect for our evening and even though there were only two of them, it seemed like there was a whole band. We danced until our feet were sore! Alive Network were very professional and helpful in finding the right band for us, and the music clips were very useful when choosing what we wanted. People kept asking how we found the band, so we directed them to Alive Network. ”
