“James was a pleasure to deal with both on the day and before it and we really appreciated his efforts to come up with a programme that our guests would enjoy, in particular those who had come over from Brazil. The inclusion of Bossa Nova style numbers worked perfectly. The only reason I have not marked him as excellent for audience engagement was not down to him at all but to the venue, as they had moved his location to the opposite end of the room from the one we had intended, somewhat distant from his audience. However, everyone I spoke to loved his playing and I would certainly hire him again should the opportunity arise. ”

“My family and guests were thrilled with James' performance. He had also kindly learnt a few of my mum's favorite songs before the event, which she enjoyed immensely. The perfect accompaniment to an afternoon tea, his smooth jazz tones were spot on. I would absolutely book James Murray again and recommend him to anyone. Perfect for an intimate event, as equally as a sophisticated dinner party. He was polite, friendly, professional and an incredibly talented performer. Me and my guests had a wonderful day.”
