“If you want a tight, exciting band who can rock out any classic number from the mid-50's to present day, then I readily guarantee Hipster will not disappoint. We held a family anniversary party with 80+ guests with a very wide age range. This personable band had that unique knack for picking the right numbers, communicating with the dancers and keeping the floor full. Book them and watch the messages come in the next day. They did not disappoint, the set list was really varied but all crowd pleasers, the sound quality was perfect and the performance was spot on. Really engaged with the crowd and got everyone dancing. “I was so lucky to be the “victim” of an amazing surprise birthday party. Hipster fulfilled my dreams of having an indie disco 50th - it was absolutely brilliant! My friends and family said they hadn’t danced so much for ages. The band played all the tunes my partner had told them I love, either live or in between sets on the backing tracks. Dancing to “there is a light that never goes out” with my oldest best pals was perfect! The band fitted in so beautifully to the evening and felt like friends. We had a ball and I just wanted to say thank you on a review. I am giving them a million star review. Best wishes and big hugs to Jody and the rest of the band.”

“Hipster played at our wedding in North Yorkshire, as groom I was left in charge of finding a band and struggled a bit as most bands seemed a bit generic `wedding band`. After listening to Hipster I thought their sound was really good and they seemed really tight and had a huge repertoire compared to most bands. I felt confident booking as they had loads of good reviews and they did not disappoint on the night! They kept everyone up dancing all night and hand loads of comments on how good they were!
