“Frankie Jay performed at our church wedding and was absolutely fantastic! He learnt my favourite song - usually played by 3 guitars - and it was amazing, so much better than I could have imagined, and played it beautifully as I walked down the aisle. In addition to this he learnt yet another song to surprise my husband as we walked back down the aisle after the ceremony. He was thrilled when he heard it and I can't thank Frankie enough for recording both songs for us to keep as a lasting memory of the day. Our guests were thoroughly entertained both before the ceremony and during the signing of the register and many commented to us on the day and afterwards about how much they enjoyed listening to Frankie. “We received many positive comments re Frankie during the day and since the wedding. Frankie called us and emailed us prior to the day, which really set us at ease. It is very stressful planning a wedding and when your suppliers take the time to contact you like this, make an effort and show an interest it really makes you feel special and like your custom is valued. He also prepared an extensive and well thought through set list which we discussed and perfected together in advance of the day. Can't fault Frankie at all, it's exactly what you need when you're planning such an important day. He is a very talented musician and kept our guests entertained throughout the day and night. He was also very conscious of making sure that his performance matched the mood at the time, and communicated with us at appropriate times to ensure everything was ok and ask whether we wanted particular songs playing as the night panned out to ensure that the preplanned playlist was tweaked appropriately as the day progressed. “When booking our wedding for the 5th July 2014, the usual was checked off… Venue, church, food, ring, suits, dress etc. When finalising our itinerary, one final box was left unchecked. Entertainment… How could my wife and I ensure that our guests shared a unique and memorable experience with us on our ‘special day’? Whilst scouring the web for a suitable artist, I came across Frankie Jay. We wanted some light entertainment for our wedding breakfast and I thought he would be perfect for the type of atmosphere we wanted our guests to have during their meal. Upon booking Frankie, he remained diligent in ensuring we were fully aware of his vast repertoire and ensuring everything was organised in advance. On the day, when our guests arrived at the venue, Frankie was ready and already began serenading them with his fantastic acoustic guitar skills. Many guests complimented us on our choice of entertainment and told us how unique and memorable the setting was. Not only were we impressed by the feedback from our guests, but we were also blown away by Frankie’s incredible talent, and his ability to provide a perfect setting for our wedding. His skills on his instrument very impressive and his vast repertoire of songs was also something to be admired. Not once during Frankie’s whole performance (we decided to go for three 45 minute sets) did he seem to fatigue, and he constantly kept our guests entertained with songs that were recognisable, popular and also current. From the massive list of songs, we chose a few favourites and let Frankie decide also. Needless to say, we were not disappointed at all. I would highly recommend Frankie for any setting (not just at a wedding), as he is able to provide a flawless performance and serenade any guest who appreciates the skill that is required to play an acoustic guitar the way that he does. At a very modest price, Frankie definitely brought a unique flare to our wedding, and he is still the one part of the day that my guests remind us about.”
