“Many thanks to ‘'Effigy' for making our wedding reception truly memorable. Lots of our guests commented on how fantastic the band were; their range of songs was excellent and they managed to incorporate many of our personal favourites into their sets. They also provided an added personal touch by inviting the Groom, and then the Bride and Bridesmaids, up onto the stage to sing with them! A real highlight of the day. “Sorry for the delay in response but we had a long honeymoon and we are just getting on top of things. Effigy were outstanding! They really helped to make the night. They got everyone up and dancing with popular songs that everyone knew which is exactly what we wanted. We had quite a lot of young people in their late 20s to early 30s as well as some older family members and we were very much up for a party atmosphere and they certainly provided it! People asked us how we knew and found the band and we certainly feel extremely lucky to have gotten such a great band from the internet. At the end of the night our guests still wanted more!!! Effigy - you really helped our wedding to be that special day. I'd certainly recommend you to anyone. Thank you very much!!! ”

“Effigy went down very well at our event. They turned up on time, were helpful and friendly and were flexible enough to meet all our requirements. We had around 130 at our event (silver wedding anniversary) with ages ranging from 17 to 65 and there were a lot of guests who specifically commented on how good the band were. “I promised the group i would email you to let you know that they were excellent. A nice guy of blokes, easy to talk to, friendly, funny.... oh yeah and they sounded excellent! I would recommend them to anyone, all my wedding guests commented on how good they sounded... not expecting a band at a wedding to sound so good! We had more people up and dancing than were sat down... not bad for 8 in the evening.”

“I definitely wanted to drop you a line to say how fantastic Effigy were. There wasn't a single person, young and old, who didn't comment on what a great band they were and where did I find them. They were discreet throughout the day when the wedding breakfast was being served, though offered to put some background music on when required. They then started playing in the evening and went down a storm. What a really lovely bunch of lads. There wasn't a time that the dancefloor was empty and soon after they started, you couldn't get on the dancefloor! I can't recommend them highly enough. I just hope they enjoyed the day as much as we did. ”
