“We were absolutely thrilled with Born To Swing’s performance at John and Mary’s 60th Wedding Anniversary at Ashlar House in Bury St Edmunds! With a guest list of 160 people, the evening had high expectations, especially following the superb Singing Waiters. However, Born To Swing delivered an incredible show that exceeded all expectations and truly made the event unforgettable. From the moment he took the stage, his energy and charisma captivated the audience. his smooth and sophisticated swing vocals brought an atmosphere of timeless elegance to the night, and his ability to engage and connect with guests of all ages was impressive. He had everyone up and dancing from the first note, creating an electric party atmosphere that lasted all night. His versatility and professionalism are second to none – handling such a significant occasion with grace and ensuring the transition from dinner to dancing was seamless. The range in his repertoire, along with his stylish and engaging stage presence, ensured there was something for everyone. It’s clear that he’s a true master of his craft. “It was a bit of a gamble booking a singer I hadn't heard before for my 50th birthday party but I knew that if they were good it would really make the party special. Oh my, what a treat we were in for! Born To Swing has a fantastic voice, and mixed so well with the guests. He was able to read the room and everyone has commented since what a fantastic addition he was to the party. (A number of the guests even took his card.) I can't recommend Andrew enough. He looked really sharp, sang a wonderful mixture of songs. Initially, it was quite swing while people mingled and chatted and then the second set everyone was on the dance floor. He even sang a duet with one of the guests- it was wonderful! I have such good memories of the party and wouldn't hesitate to book him again if we have another event.”
