Full Biography
The Golden Hour duo play a variety of popular genres, from classic jazz to upbeat tunes and everything in between! The artists in their setlist include: Stevie Wonder, Norah Jones, James Morrison, Sheryl Crow, Shania Twain and more.
The Golden Hour duo was formed as a result of the members mutual love of playing music. From there, they have been performing together for several years now across Europe and the U.K.
The Golden Hour are ideal for afternoon wedding receptions with an extensive jazz playlist and well known songs that create a relaxed and sophisticated ambience.
Weaving enchanting vocals with intricate guitar playing, this versatile duo can fit into your plans whether you require a main stage act or a subtler background option.
They can play completely acoustically, so roaming is an option. However, generally they play with amplification so access to mains power is required. As a duo, a minimum of 4m x 4m is needed as a performance space.
Sets are typically 45 minutes with a 15 minute break in between. The Golden Hour offer a bespoke DJ playlist service in between sets.
The duo generally need 30-60 minutes set up time depending on the venue. They will usually arrive around an hour before performance time to ensure everything runs smoothly. They are fully covered with Public Liability Insurance and all equipment is PAT tested.
Previous performances include: 606 club London, Saalfelden Jazz Fest, Jazz in the City Festival, De Doelen, Blue Note Milano.
Awards include: The Jimmy Woode award and The Eric Kershaw prize for guitar.
Experience: 10 + years performing across the U.K, Europe, and the U.S at festivals, parties and clubs.
