If you are searching for that “classic” Jazz sound from the golden Swing era of the 1930s through to the cool blue note grooves of 1960’s New York, then Soho Cool is the band for you!
Featuring music by the likes of John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Bill Evans, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Stan Getz, Charlie Parker, Frank Sinatra, Horace Silver and Sonny Rollins plus many more, Soho Cool recreates those sublimely cool sounds with an unrivalled degree of accuracy and sense of style.
Soho Cool is a purely instrumental band with a play list that can be as lively or as relaxed as you like. This makes the band ideal as background music at sophisticated wedding receptions, drinks parties, dinners or corporate events.
If you like those cool laid back west coast sounds of Stan Getz that is what you’ll get; if you adore the songs of Frank Sinatra (well who doesn’t?!) they will play those for you of course; or if you love it all that’s great as they do too!
Soho Cool is one of the busiest professional function bands active in UK and they often have the privilege to perform at some of the country’s most prestigious events. The jazz band has an unrivalled reputation amongst event organisers, wedding planners, venues and music agencies due to the high standard of their performances, excellent levels of customer service and yet surprisingly affordable prices.

Michelle C booked Soho Cool for their Wedding in London
“Soho Cool made our wedding reception in a modest pub the classy affair we hoped for! The guests absolutely loved the atmosphere they created with their classic jazz style and were pleasantly surprised to hear some recognisable songs. They appeared as if by magic and were so professional in their approach. They were a delight to meet and I highly recommend them for any event which needs that 'something special'.”

Shahrnaz I booked Soho Cool for their event in London
“Soho Cool were excellent and really made the party! So glad we booked them and would definitley use them again. Special thanks to Nathan who was very professional and organised!”
Catherine V booked Soho Cool for their Wedding at The Tithe Barn in Hampshire
“Soho Cool performed at our wedding on a sunny October afternoon in Hampshire. They sound great and are very flexible (moving outside on request as this is where most of the guests were gathered), friendly and professional. We really enjoyed their performance which for us was playing jazz as background music during a drinks reception. They got the feel of the event just right and really added to the ambience. For the quality of the performance they're very reasonably priced. We would thoroughly recommend them Ben & Cat”
