Bigtime Brass Band is a one-of-a-kind, fully mobile brass band that brings a vibrant, celebratory atmosphere to any event. Their high-energy blend of funky soul, pop favorites, and New Orleans-style jazz has proven to be an irresistible addition to weddings, parties, festivals, and corporate functions alike. With a lively second-line performance style, they create a roaming, carnival-like experience, filling the air with rhythmic beats and uplifting brass that draws people into the moment.
Their wide-ranging repertoire is uniquely adapted to their signature brass sound, featuring everything from 90s dance hits and Motown classics to The Beatles, Daft Punk, and Whitney Houston. Bigtime Brass Band’s appeal has led them to prestigious stages and exclusive venues, with past performances for big names like Bentley, Harrods, and the London Guilds. As regular entertainers at Northampton Saints rugby games, they’ve even celebrated the team’s league victory with a show-stopping homecoming parade performance.
The band features some of the UK’s finest musicians, each classically trained and experienced in performing alongside A-list artists. This combination of expertise and energy is led by frontman Chris Fry, an actor known for his West End performances and appearances in film and TV. “We hired The big time Brass band to surprise our wedding guests and lead them through the streets of Shoreditch to our secret venue. They were absolutely spectacular and brought a little part of London to a standstill. Taxi drivers were beeping, couples were snapping and random passes by joining in to the dancing!!! The energy from the boys was phenomenal and the entire Wedding group just couldn’t stop smiling. Absolutely spectacular, and I won’t hesitate to recommend them if you want to add some joy, energy and excitement to your event!!! Great lads!!!!”

They were incredibly flexible around weather, moving from spot to spot as rain went on and off, but most importantly they sounded great! Our guests loved it and they set the tone for the whole day with everyone dancing and singing along. Could not recommend Chris and the band enough, thank you guys!”
