The band's song repertoire draws on Country, New Country and Country Rock to give a very accessible concert experience and they can intersperse the songs with 'yee haw' instrumentals to liven up the atmosphere!

If dancing is more your cup of coffee, our caller and all round dance expert can guide you through Square Dances, Line Dances, Party Dances and lots more. Even reluctant dancers will find it hard to resist joining in and everyone can be part of the fun; there is something for all ages and abilities!

The New County Band is based in south-east England and has a flexible line-up with a five piece concert band for larger events, a six piece band for dancing or they can slim down to a 4 piece for smaller, more intimate events. Please see booking options for more details.

Meet The Band
Dawn (Lead Vocals/Caller)
Our vivacious lead vocalist can really bring out the 'heart & soul' of the music. As well as being a vocalist in several bands, Dawn has travelled extensively throughout the UK with musical theatre shows, performed in Old Time Music Hall, street theatre, pantomime, fringe theatre plays and has run her own theatre company both writing and directing shows.

Brian (Electric Guitar/Vocals)
Originally hailing from Australia, Brian cut his musical teeth playing with the top Sydney band Bluetongue. Since arriving in England he has played in a number of rock and folk/rock outfits such as The Cluster of Nuts Band as well as in more mainstream rock and blues bands. Brian has appeared at many music festivals around the UK as well as releasing a number of recordings.

Tom (Fiddle)
Siân is a fifth generation fiddle player with roots back to the chapel fiddlers of the Swansea Valleys. Her professional career has seen her perform at festivals, concerts, workshops and seminars throughout the UK, Europe and the USA. She has played with The Constitution Hillbillies, Heather Jones, Meic Stevens, Wild Welsh Women and Celtish.

Guy (Bass Guitar)
Chris is an experienced player in country, jazz, blues, rock, pop, latin and bands. As well as running open jam sessions at Woburn she is a wood turner and exhibits in galleries around the country.

Mike (Drums)
Mike is originally from East London and brings an incredible level of energy to the band as well as a great deal of percussive showmanship.
