The Monochromes Duo

The Monochromes Duo are an acoustic duo based in Oxfordshire. Paul and Krisha have been working together since 2017, providing a quality experience for every client.

Known best for their beautifully worked harmonies and friendly personas, they are certain to make a great addition to your event. Playing acoustic covers from all eras, The Monochromes Duo are suited perfectly for wedding ceremonies, afternoon sets, and drinks receptions.

The duo consists of Paul Moody (Guitar & Vocals) and Krisha Kaye (Vocals). Both musicians grew up listening to similar music, such as The Beatles, The Carpenters, The Everly Brothers, and Simon & Garfunkel; to mention a few. This helped them to blend their styles together on stage and become the tight harmony duo that they are today.

Wedding Ceremonies
The Monochromes Duo make the perfect addition for your Wedding Ceremony. Having live music for your ceremony creates a special atmosphere that you simply cannot get through a CD. The Duo will perform live welcome music as guests enter and take their seats; a song for walking down the aisle; a song during the signing of the register/photos; and a final song as you and your guests leave. You are able to choose all of the songs yourself from the full setlist which can be emailed to you. The Monochromes Duo are also able to learn your special song, free of charge, if you book within 3 days of receiving your quote!

Drinks Receptions/Afternoon Sets
The Duo can provide uplifting acoustic sets for you and your guests during the drinks reception. This is a great way to entertain your friends and family whilst they socialise with a drink and tuck in to some delicious canapés. As a standard option, The Monochromes Duo offer 1 x 60 minute set for this part of your day, but this can be altered to suit your specific needs. Please note, the price may vary, depending on what you require.

Wedding Breakfasts
Performing gentle, easy listening background acoustic covers, this is the best way for you to relax and enjoy your meal as a married couple. The Duo will perform 2 x 45 minute sets with a short break in between, this tends to fill out the time nicely for the duration of the Wedding Breakfast. You can tailor these sets to suit your taste and pick all of your favourite songs from our setlist, if you wish!

Acoustic Sets For Any Occasion
Perhaps you are looking for some easy listening music for your party? Or some entertainment for a family gathering? The Monochromes Duo can cater to many different types of events. The Duo offer the choice of either 30 minute, 45 minute or 60 minute sets depending on what you require. The most popular booking option being 2 x 60 minute sets.
