The Manchester Ceilidh Trio are one of the UK's finest professional ceilidh bands available for Weddings, Functions and Corporate Events. Based in the North of England, the band performs all over the UK and is highly in demand with a busy schedule.
As one of only a handful of professional Scottish Ceilidh bands, the members are young and extremely talented musicians. Our standard line up comprises of fiddle, piano, and drums and delivers fantastically energetic ceilidh sets ensuring your night will be entertaining from the first note to the last. We can also provide larger line ups to include other instruments: ie. accordion/banjo/mandolin/penny whistle/etc.
Our band members trained at the Royal Northern College of Music, one of the world's leading conservatoires. Outwith The Manchester Ceilidh Trio, each member maintains a busy freelance career and have performed with a variety of artists and leading UK orchestras ranging from indie-folk band Belle and Sebastian to singing sensation Andrea Bocelli.

Really clear instructions for the merry party goers, and he included a slower number so that my 86 yo grandma could join in. We had amazing feedback from all who attended. “Michael and the band performed at my wedding. They were fantastic. Only a couple of my guest shad ever done a ceilidh before so Michael was great at accommodating everyone range of abilities. He was a clear caller and great fun. Our wedding was running behind schedule but the band must have waited patiently, without me noticing them, for our speeches to be over before coming to set up, they were great. By the end of the set we had most of our wedding guests up and dancing around, with our level of fun and intoxication The band played along and were happy just to call "freestyle".
