The Best of Elton

The Best of Elton is an Essex-based musician, pianist and composer, and he brings Elton John out of retirement with his amazing tribute to the great pop icon. The Best of Elton can play at small or large events, on an inside or outside stage, and will be pleased to discuss your needs and take on any requested Elton songs that don’t appear in his set.

He has been a fan of Elton since knee high and has been tributing the great man ever since the late noughties when he first started touring with the Rocket Band. He has a real flare for the unique vocal style and piano texture of Elton and is able to create great audience reaction and participation. As soon as Ian steps out on stage and kicks off with the stomping classic ‘I’m Still Standing’, audiences instantly get the feel of Elton’s presence.

The Best of Elton’s musical career has included working in TV and radio, playing in a 12 piece soul band and performing as a classical concert pianist. He has worked in tribute bands including the UK Bee Gees and more recently been a member of chart scoring band Peace On Your Plate. His previous Elton experience has included working at Warners holiday parks, corporate events, festivals and private functions.

All in all, The Best of Elton’s tribute to Elton is a professional and unique experience that will get the audience up dancing and singing along and will give them an event to remember.

‘I’ve followed Elton since the 1970s and seen him in concert twice. Once at Caesars Palace, Vegas and also at Powderham Castle in Devon where he played over 2 and a half hours solo. I hope my tribute in whatever way will help keep his great music alive!’
