A Liverpool Lad with a Passion for Lennon

For over 20 years, professional musician Jimmy has dedicated himself to perfecting the portrayal of John Lennon, amassing an impressive career filled with remarkable highlights.

Starting out as part of the acclaimed Beatles tribute band The Blue Meanies, Jimmy had the honor of sharing the stage with Sir Paul McCartney at The Liverpool Empire Theatre during the late George Harrison’s birthday celebrations on February 25, 2002.

From 2012 to 2020, Jimmy was a key performer at the world-famous Cavern Club, captivating audiences with his authentic renditions of Lennon’s greatest hits. In 2013, he briefly left the Cavern to star in the Broadway production of Let It Be at New York’s St. James Theatre. That same year, he was invited to perform backstage at Liam Gallagher’s after-show party in Hamburg.

One of Jimmy’s most prestigious achievements came when he took on the role of John Lennon in The Sessions at Abbey Road, premiering at London’s Royal Albert Hall before embarking on a major arena tour across the UK and Ireland.

The standard performance consists of two 45-minute sets, with the option of an additional set upon request. Having received rave reviews from fans and industry professionals worldwide, this show delivers an unforgettable tribute to one of music’s greatest icons.
