The Barberellas

Welcome to The Barberellas, a professional girl group from the North East of England, specialising in Barbershop and close-harmony a cappella singing. Whether you’re the bride and groom looking for something special to walk down the aisle, an event planner looking for musical entertainment to impress guests as they sip champagne, or someone arranging a surprise birthday party for a loved one, look no further – The Barberellas have it all (and wear really nice shoes!).

The singers have a wealth of professional singing experience, from fronting 35-piece orchestras to providing live backing vocals for major bands such as Australian Pink Floyd, as well as studio session singing for use in theatres nationally. But it’s getting back to basics and singing without accompaniment that the singers enjoy the most...

The Barberellas perform classic barbershop arrangements such as Lollipop and Mister Sandman, but also love creating exclusive barbershop arrangements of songs from other eras, such as those by Jackson 5 and Lady Gaga.

The quartet perform entirely without accompaniment and can provide a PA system should the client require. They often perform during wedding ceremonies, pre-dinner drinks, between meal courses, at birthday parties and corporate events, as well as masquerading as venue staff and bursting out into song in their Singing Waitress package!

The Barbarellas are happy to tailor their image and set content to fit in with your theme. They can also provide a live cocktail pianist in between sets.
