Full Biography
Having started playing the steel pan in his father’s band at the age of 14, he has now performed professionally for well over 40 years. In addition to extensive gigging around the world, he has worked as a session musician for renowned projects, including Gary Barlow, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and most recently, Mog’s Christmas, which aired on Christmas Day. He also made an appearance on The Repair Shop on Christmas Day. His list of previous clients is extensive, featuring names such as the Sultan of Brunei, Paul McCartney, and many others.
Beyond the steel pan, he is also a professional keyboard player, having collaborated with legendary artists such as Jimmy Ruffin, Edwin Starr, The Drifters, Odyssey, and Ronnie Laws. In 1993, he embarked on a career in music composition for television and film, with his work featured in major productions, including E.R., The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Friends, and hundreds more. His writing has primarily been for a single publishing company, with a catalog of over 700 works spanning more than 30 albums.
With an unparalleled background in music, he stands out as a truly unique performer on the steel pan. His passion for performing is evident in every show, and he continues to find immense joy in entertaining audiences worldwide.
