Djazz Ensemble

Djazz Ensemble are a Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli inspired swing quartet featuring Guitar, Violin, Rhythm Guitar and Double Bass. 

Their music echoes the sounds of the classic Hot Club Du France recordings from the 30's and 40's but also has a fresh contemporary feel.  

They draw from a broad range of songs from the Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli era as well as others from the American songbook, they also feature some of their own compositions too.

Their performances are full of energy and passion and in the true gypsy jazz tradition is full of virtuosic flair.

Your Event
Djazz can play with or without amplification or PA, which makes them very portable. With no need for electricity, this ensemble are the ideal choice for many outdoor and some indoor events which struggle with electricity supply.

Djazz Ensemble play Jazz Swing in the Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli style, however they are always happy to accommodate any requests for songs with due notice provided (see booking options).
