April In Paris are a vibrant and energetic jazz quartet with an ideal sound to make a great atmosphere at any venue, function, event or party. Comprising of experienced professional musicians, April In Paris perform a wide variety of jazz standards (swing, Latin, bebop), cool jazz, The Great American Song Book, contemporary jazz and funk.

Tom Harker - Trumpet & vocals
Tom has been playing in and running jazz bands since a teenager. Has played in The Pendulum Jazz Orchestra, The Devon Youth Jazz Orchestra and won bursaries at Dartington International Summer School on courses with Keith Tippet and Herbie Flowers. Tom enjoys singing all the classics by the greats; Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darrin and Ella Fitzgerald.

Paul Glover - Drums
Paul's reputation as a solid, versatile and hard working drummer has brought him huge success, including international tours, major festival appearances and national radio and television appearances. Paul was a full time member of Pure Reason Revolution the progressive-electronic-rock outfit, touring the UK, Europe and the US and playing on two studio albums.

Paul has recently been playing for Scroobius Pip, one of the UK’s leading spoken word/hip hop exponents and has enjoyed the success of sold out tours of the UK and Ireland, extensive European tours and highly anticipated appearances at some of the UK and Ireland’s largest festivals. Paul has had a lifelong passion for Jazz and regularly plays in various jazz groups.

Luke Burnett Smith - Bass
Luke is a session musician covering a wide variety of styles in different bands within the South East and London. Luke is one of the most sought after players in Berkshire due to his dexterity, groove and sound whether he’s playing jazz, funk, soul, reggae or pop.

Nick Currie - Piano
Nick is recognised as an up and coming talent in jazz piano, he has played with many jazz outfits, with such infectious sounds and creativity he looks to go far as a professional jazz musician.
